Ungaro Haute Couture Suit

1980's design at it's best, this three piece evening suit from Emanuel Ungaro has all the bells and whistles of a 1980's power suit with a generous dose of flower of flowers and butterflies added to the mix.

The beautifully tailored jacket has padded shoulders, soft drapey lapels, a shapely fitted waist, two hip pockets and a V shaped hemline in front with a whimsical fully gathered peplum at the back. The three buttons are roses under glass, and the lining is marigold silk for the body of the jacket and the butterfly print for the peplum.

The camisole is done in the charming butterfly print. It has narrow straps and a center back zipper. The skirt has a wide waistband at the natural waistline, and two slash pockets at the hips. The narrow hemline is banded in marigold colored silk. This powerful and sexy suit is a numbered couture piece and it is in pristine condition.
