Halston Jacket with Beaded Fringe

The ultimate beaded jacket from Halston, this jacket is so evocative of the Studio 54 era and Liza Minelli who also owned this design.

It is a very simple shape, a collarless cardigan jacket with a hook and eye closure at the neckline, but Halston took the jacket to another level. The top of the jacket and the sleeves are covered in rows of hand sewn bugle beads, and these are smothered in bugle beaded fringe. The bottom half of the jacket is covered in rows of glistening hand sewn sequins. The jacket is edged with a one inch band of bugle beads. This jacket is not only an entrance maker, it is a show stopper. In excellent condition, this jacket is heavy, but it is a very glamorous workout.
