Lagerfeld for Chloe Suede Cape

There is so much detail in what appears at first glance to be a very simple suede cape or poncho from Chloe. But it was designed by Karl Lagerfeld so we know that we should look forward to the details.

A drawstring double collar has one ruffled layer trimmed with fur and the suede drawstring is embellished with a Lucite pendant most closely resembling an icicle. The body of the garment has a V shaped yoke, lying flat against the wearer. The dramatic look is created by a gathered section of suede adding fullness, motion and glamour but never bulk. The neckline and front are laced with fur, and the hemline is laced with a double border of fur for added glamour.

This versatile suede piece can be worn over a sweater and jeans, a suit, or even another coat for added warmth and drama. It is in excellent condition, marked Medium, one size fits most.
