Karl Lagerfeld Beaded Dress

Karl Lagerfeld designed this very wearable beaded dress to celebrate the launch of his perfume. The simple long sleeved black silk dress is embellished with a glorious panel of Lesage beadwork and embroidery.

This is revealed by a distinctive open seam on the left side. The dress has all of the couture details, including small zippers at the wrist to insure a snug fit, a hand stitched center back zipper below a sexy opening and hand stitching throughout. The beaded panel is done in black, white and bright blue bugle beads in an abstract design on a cream silk panel. Metallic embroidery in gold, silver and copper in a geometric pattern combined with three silver stars anchors the beadwork. This dress was worn on the runway and there is no label. Provenance is available to the buyer.
