Chloe Silk Cocktail Dress

Chain, chain, chain! That melody runs through my mind every time I see this gorgeous chain trimmed dress from Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe.

Ball chain, similar to a key chain, is used to decorate this black silk dress from the 1970's. The bodice has a V-shaped neckline and cap sleeves trimmed in the silvery chain. Eight additional bands of silver decorate the front of the dress, with three more on the back. There is a wide cummerbund style waistband. The skirt is composed of two layers of silk. The top layer is slit to the waist at the center front. Seven gores are outlined in silver chain and the hemline is finished with the silver ball chain as well. The dress has a center back zipper and it is in excellent condition.
