The long and narrow silhouette is emphasized by the collarless neckline, adorned with a row of twenty-six covered buttons and loops. The long sleeves are fitted and have zippers at the wrist. There are deep slits on either side of the dress, a little ladylike sexiness.

The dress is fully lined in midnight blue chiffon, and the construction is of the finest couture quality. A great deal of the work is done by hand.

This dress bears the label of Norman Norell for I. Magnin. It is in pristine condition, and appears to have never been worn.
