Cashmere and Lace Sweater

A 1950's Dalton cashmere sweater has been embellished with a lace yoke by Nanette Cashmeres of New York.

The work on this sweater is just amazing. A wide lace yoke and cuffs have been set into the sweater. The black cashmere has been cut away from the lace, leaving a sheer pink lining for a peek-a-boo effect. The lace is threaded with a black velvet ribbon and the buttons are black velvet as well. The cuffs and waistband have been turned under for a snug fit. This glamorous sweater was retailed by Jay Thorpe and it is in excellent condition.
