Mexican Sequin Espadrilles
I love these 1950's espadrilles,
actually I am crazy about
espadrilles in general. They bring
back fond memories of summer
vacations in France, carefree casual
dressing, fabulous French food...
I digress, these espadrilles are
fabulous. The uppers are green
canvas covered, almost smothered, in
rows of multi color jewel toned
sequins overlapping like fish
scales. Magenta silk ribbons are
threaded through this sparkling
glamour. They are long enough to
lace all the way up your calves. The
soles are a substantial woven straw,
pristine and unworn. They are just
waiting for an adventure! The white
lining is stamped Hecho en Mexico,
no size is indicated but they are
about a size 6 1/2.
