Ceil Chapman Cocktail Dress
Black silk jersey is draped
beautifully for the bodice of this
1950's silk and lace cocktail dress
from Ceil Chapman. The style is very
reminiscent of old Hollywood and a
goddess of the silver screen.
The sleeveless dress has a bateau
neckline and a sexy low back. The
bodice is draped and gathered on the
right side, accenting the
asymmetrical tiers of Alencon lace
in the skirt. There is a narrow
black silk jersey skirt underneath
the lace. The dress has a center
back zipper, figure flattering
draping at the waistline in the
back, and snap closures on the lace
flounces of the skirt. It is fully
lined and in pristine condition.
