Modernist Lilli Ann Jacket
Lilli Ann of San
Francisco is a label that is prized
for its great styling of jackets,
suits and coats at the mid-point of
the 20th century.
This jacket from the 1940's is a
great example of their work. The
jacket is beautifully tailored from
navy blue wool with an open collar
and four fabric covered buttons. Two
pockets sit at the hipline. The
sleeves are cuffed and edged with
cream piping. The same piping is
used for the wonderful graphic
design on the right front side of
the jacket. This makes a great
jacket become a work of wearable
art. It is fully lined and in
excellent condition.
