A perfect dress for a great figure, this simple yet elegant black crepe gown was retailed by Lord & Taylor circa 1950.  The low cut neckline and gathering at the bust are extremely flattering to all figures.  The long sleeves have small zippers at the wrist for a snug fit.  There is a fitted waistline, narrow hipline, and the skirt has some fullness and a slight train in the back.

This dress is a perfect backdrop for jewelry, or perhaps a crown!  It is in excellent wearable condition.
