Fernande Desgranges designed this incredibly chic mid century modern handbag. He had retail shops in Paris, Geneva and Nice, and created exquisite bags of superior quality.

This bag is distinguished by the diagonal watch strap on the front of the bag. There is a diminutive Exacta watch from the Monaco Watch Co. Made in France, at the center of this strap.

The bag is made from bone colored calfskin in a structured shape. The handle is top stitched leather and the turn clasp is accented with leather as well.  A striking brass frame accents the unique shape of the bag, and there are two brass bars on the bottom to protect the bag.  The interior is stamped Fernande Desgranges, Geneva, Paris, Nice,Made in France, Depose in gold.

The interior is lined in the softest cream colored leather imaginable. There are two open pockets on one side with the original mirror, and a zippered pocket on the other side. It is in pristine condition, as is the exterior of this stylish 1950's handbag.
