Red Needlepoint Bag

Hand worked needlepoint and matching red leather combine in this striking vintage handbag from the 1950's.

The central design is worked in shades of gold, green and tan on the front and back of the bag. The bottom of the bag has a green needlepoint design, an element taken from the larger design. The bag is piped in red leather and the handle and the frame are also red leather.

The interior is a red silk moiré with three pockets. The bag retains the matching change purse as well as the original comb and mirror. It is in excellent condition.
