What a treat to find a great crocodile handbag in a gorgeous color!  This burgundy crocodile bag from Lederer, Paris is just stunning.

The small scale skins are glossy and supple in this rigid, structure handbag.  Even the handle is a perfectly rigid arc.  There is a concealed brass clasp and the bag is lined in burgundy leather.  The interior has two open pockets as well as a brass framed pocket that snaps closed.  It is stamped in gold; Lederer, Made in France, 711 Fifth Ave., N.Y., as well as the letter "G", possibly the initial of the original owner.

This elegant handbag is in excellent condition.
