Three Piece Lace
Suit
The French
woman who owned this super sexy 70's lace pants outfit
bought nothing but the best. Her red Bohan for Dior dress
is in the Designer & Couture section, and her Hermes
crocodile bag is in the Handbag section.
Unfortunately she also liked to remove the labels from some
of her clothes to avoid paying customs fees. As a result
this fabulously sexy lace outfit is without a label, but the
style and quality speak for themselves. The delicate lace
base is covered with cotton tape lace flowers in every
imaginable size. They have a dimensional quality, and seem
to blossom on the swirling vines of cotton tape.
The sheer,
unlined jacket has a standup collar and closes to the left
of center with five white buttons discreetly worked into the
pattern of the lace. The long sleeves have a fitted cuff
and matching button closure. The unlined jacket is narrow
at the shoulders and fitted through the waistline, with
fullness over the hips.
Underneath
there is a bandeau or bra top. This is made from the same
lace and is fully lined in a flesh toned silk with narrow
silk straps. There are four metal hooks and eyes at the
center back for closure.
The sheer
lace trousers are unlined to match the jacket. There is no
waistband, they sit just below the waistline. A center back
zipper allows for a smooth look, and a decorative lace edge
runs vertically down the center of each trouser leg adding
visual interest. The pants are cut wide and straight
through the leg, and they are finished with a decorative
lace edge to match the jacket.
Equally
stylish if worn separately, all three pieces of this outfit
are in pristine condition.
