wool is lined and trimmed in vanilla raw silk in this early 1960's
Traina-Norell coat and skirt.
The clean lined style of the 1960's is evident
in the design of this outfit. A simple round collar, the buttonless
front opening, four patch pockets and turned back cuffs are all
edged in raw silk. This same fabric is used for the lining of the
coat, and it edges the waistband of the skirt. Perfect together, the
pieces would work separately as well. All you need is a cashmere
sweater to complete the look.
Retailed by the French Shops at Filene's in
Boston, this colorful outfit is in excellent condition.
