This 1960’s black velvet and ivory satin three piece dinner suit is simply elegant and elegantly simple.

Black velvet and ivory satin are a striking combination in this elegant dinner suit retailed by The Blum Store, a now closed upscale ladies clothing store in Philadelphia.

The clean lined jacket has an ivory satin collar and cuffs as its only decoration.  The two piece dress underneath has a matching satin blouse with a rounded neckline, short sleeves, a satin tie belt and a metal zipper at the center back.  Underneath, a sleeveless rayon bodice is attached to the straight skirt.  This piece also has a metal zipper at the center back.

The outfit retains its original price tag, never worn; the condition of all three pieces is excellent.
