This gorgeous coat will take the chill out of the coldest winter day. American Beauty Red wool from head to toe, this coat is another piece from the wardrobe of a former American Beauty Queen.

Bud Kilpatrick, a California designer, has done a masterful job of tailoring this beautiful garment.  There is a generous notched collar, the sleeves are made from two pieces of fabric, seamed in the center and set in on the diagonal.  The bodice has darts for a figure flattering fit, and six fabulous big red fabric covered buttons,  The tie belt is attached at the left side.  The lining is a matching red silk, and bears labels from the designer as well as the retailer, Bonwit Teller.

This luxuriously soft wool coat from the 1960's is in immaculate condition.
