Palest peach chiffon is both fitted and flowing in this elegant dress from the Greek/American designer Stavropoulos.  He created his clothing designs in Athens as well as New York.

Four layers of chiffon are used for the body of the dress.  It is cut narrow through the shoulders and fuller through the bustline to the hemline.  The sleeves are long and fitted, made from a single layer of chiffon.  The elegant drape in the back is also made from a single layer of chiffon, allowing for wonderful movement.  It is attached to the dress at the right shoulder seam and fastens on the left side with three fabric covered buttons and loops.  The dress has a low back with a center zipper, and the label Stavropoulos, New York and Athens is next to the zipper. 

This elegant and feminine chiffon dress from the 1970's is in excellent condition.
