Sensational color, graphic Art Deco design and an exquisite cut make this late 1920's dress so exceptional. It is a testament to the design innovation of this period.

The combination of orchid, navy blue, aquamarine and metallic gold lame is unusual and striking.  The Art Deco design is worked to great advantage in this intricately cut vintage gown. The V shaped seam at the bodice is repeated below the waistline and down the center back of the skirt.  Arched seams lend a flattering line to the hips and create fullness and length at the back. The bodice of the dress is lined in deep purple georgette, and all of the seams are hand finished. 

In excellent condition, this dress comes from a prestigious Manhattan estate.  In true 1920's style it just slips on over the head, so please check the measurements carefully.
